| Welcome to our Web Page!! |
My name is Jim and my wife and I live in Texas. I work as a police officer in Houston and live on a small farm north of Houston. The job that I do has a lot of stress that comes with it, so we decided to slow down some by moving out to the country. There is a significant difference in the pace of the folks living here in the country when compared to the city and I have spent a lot of time trying to adjust but it's an adjustment worth making. My wife, Gerrie, works in Houston for (get this) a law firm. I put them in and they get them out! We enjoy camping and I am a divemaster and enjoy spending time in the water...that way I don't have to listen to my wife as much! I like to spend time working here on the farm but also enjoy having fun with the family. We have one son, Joey, who also works in Houston and three daughters. Teresa is our oldest daughter and she just recently moved to Columbus, Texas to go to work. Kim is the middle daughter who provided us with the never ending entertainment of our grandbaby. Lesa is the daughter that we are still trying to get through college. I have lots of friends at my job and spend time with some of them away from work. I have shared many hours diving with friends from the job and gained many memories from the numerous hunting trips which we have taken.

I have been working on our family history and plan to write a book about it. Genealogy is a very interesting subject to me and I have been able to contact several relatives through my research that I would have otherwise never known about. Our grandbaby, Hailey, just turned three in July and she is a handful to keep up with. She spends almost every weekend with us at the farm playing with the cows, dog, cats or just riding her Barbie jeep! She has been a real joy to our lives and is a very entertaining little girl! Official records can't confirm it but I believe that she is one spoiled little girl...a situation that I played a large part in! When the tractor is started, she is the first to want to sit in Paw Paw's lap and "dwive" it. After that...no fense or tree has a fighting chance! This web site has been a lot of fun and is very easy to create and update. If you thought it would be hard to do your own web page... | I love spending time with my family. |
I have included some pictures of my wife, two of my daughters and the grandbaby. The family that I have been blessed with has made my life a very good one. Pictured here are my two daughters Teresa and Lesa. Teresa manages to visit us often (though not often enough) and Lesa is in her third year of college at ETBU. I have more pictures on the link provided below so click on and enjoy!! This site last updated 04-18-2000
